Modulus (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the web application at modulus.show. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service.

Information we collect

• Account information — email address, display name, and authentication credentials for Creator accounts
• Program data — run sheets, contacts, files, and production materials you store in Modulus
• Contact information — names, email addresses, and phone numbers for crew and co-owners that producers add to a program
• Notification logs — records of email and SMS delivery attempts (recipient, channel, success/failure, message content for audit)
• Technical data — standard server and browser logs (IP address, device type, timestamps) for security and reliability

How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Modulus platform
• Authenticate Creator accounts and manage access tokens for crew/co-owner links
• Send transactional email and SMS notifications when a producer triggers an update
• Respond to support requests
• Detect abuse, fraud, and security incidents

SMS and phone numbers

Phone numbers are collected by event producers on behalf of crew members who have agreed to receive production updates. We use phone numbers only to deliver transactional SMS related to the programs they are assigned to — not for marketing.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.

Service providers

We use trusted third parties to operate Modulus:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and hosting infrastructure
• Telnyx — SMS message delivery
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Vercel / DigitalOcean — web application hosting

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms and data processing agreements.

Data retention

We retain account and program data while your account is active. Notification audit logs are retained for operational and compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your account or contact data by emailing us.

Your choices & rights

• SMS opt-out — reply STOP to any Modulus text message
• Access or correction — contact us to review or update information we hold about you
• Deletion — request account or contact removal by emailing support

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), authenticated access controls, and scoped access tokens for crew links. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we work to protect your data and improve our safeguards over time.

Children

Modulus is a business tool for event production professionals. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest revision.
