Terms of Service
Last updated: June 16, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Modulus at modulus.show. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
Service description
Modulus is a cloud-based platform for live event production management, including run-of-show editing, crew sharing, file storage, and transactional notifications. Creators maintain accounts; crew and co-owners typically access programs via secure links provided by the producer.
Accounts
- Creator accounts require a valid email and password.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Modulus for unlawful purposes or to violate others’ rights
- Send unsolicited marketing SMS or spam through the notification system
- Add phone numbers or email addresses without the recipient’s consent
- Attempt to access programs, data, or accounts you are not authorized to use
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
SMS and email notifications
Modulus enables producers to send transactional production updates to crew contacts via SMS and email. By using notification features, you agree that:
- You will obtain express consent from each recipient before adding their phone number or sending SMS
- Messages will relate to legitimate production updates for events you manage — not bulk marketing
- You will honor opt-out requests (recipients may reply STOP to cancel SMS)
- Message and data rates may apply to SMS recipients
Full SMS program details, including opt-in, frequency, STOP, and HELP, are in our SMS Notifications Program page.
Your content
You retain ownership of programs, run sheets, and files you upload. You grant Modulus a limited license to host, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the service (including delivering notifications you initiate).
Availability
We strive for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, outages, or third-party provider issues may occasionally affect the service.
Disclaimer of warranties
Modulus is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Modulus and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or for operational reasons. You may stop using Modulus at any time and request account deletion.
Changes
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Modulus operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
